Information on the Activities of the Public Council

The Public Council operates in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Public Control" (No. ORD-474), enacted on April 12, 2018. Additionally, its activities are guided by Presidential Decree PD-3837, dated July 4, 2018, "On Measures to Organize the Activities of Public Councils under State Bodies."

Pursuant to Presidential Decree PD-3775, issued on June 5, 2018, "On Additional Measures to Enhance the Quality of Education in Higher Education Institutions and Ensure Their Active Participation in the Comprehensive Reforms of the Country," as well as the Order of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education (No. 512) dated June 8, 2018, the Public Council of the Institute was officially established.

Further clarification of the Council’s role came with the Order of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education on July 28, 2018, and subsequently on September 15, 2022, the Public Council's statute was formally approved in line with the model regulations for public councils in higher education institutions.

The Public Council functions under a work plan, which is approved by the Rector of the Institute. The progress of this plan is regularly reviewed by the institute's internal councils. The primary objectives of the Public Council include: enhancing the institute's overall activities through the introduction of effective public oversight, fostering public opinion and bolstering its influence, and ensuring a healthy socio-spiritual environment among faculty members.

In addition, the Council is tasked with addressing any existing issues in the academic and social spheres, thereby contributing to the development of the educational institution. It aims to support the improvement of the quality of education, advance the institution’s scientific potential, and elevate the social and cultural environment to new heights.
